Meet the Instructor
Instructor Dan is an experienced IDC Staff instructor who began his diving career in the late 1990's. His underwater passion led him to Go Pro and work his way up to his current rating. His shop formally opened in 2003 and has been certifying students in the Akron and Cleveland area ever since.
His daughter Kathryn became and Open Water Scuba Instructor in summer of 2017 while serving in the US Army. She has continued to expand her teaching skills and now also holds the rating of PADI IDC Staff Instructor. She can be found teaching scuba on various military installations, when she's not on a trip somewhere.
We specialize in one-on-one diver education and customer convenience. You'll never find yourself in a large group underwater or with unfamiliar instructors. Dan prides his shop and himself on going the extra mile to accommodate customers' timelines and unique vacation needs.
